We went backpacking for a weekend and the first night she was so cold that we switched sleeping bags. I gave her my 20 degree bag to sleep in and I slept in this one. I was cold. I checked my thermometer at 4am and the temperature in our tent was 35 degrees. We are going to return this and get her a 20 degree bag as we do a lot of high alpine camping.

Not as light or stuffable as down, but don't have to worry about it getting wet and it won't make my down-allergic tentmates suffer. I don't like the padlocks but others might. All around very good value for the price.

(& i stay pretty warm a night, as a rule). i'm returning it.
