The grey pair came with flat front, as described. However, the black pair (same product number) came with pleated front and had to be exchanged. Unfortunately, the exchange pair also came with pleated front and had to be returned for credit. Too bad. I really would have liked a second pair of these pants in black. Otherwise, the grey pair fits nice and looks great... good weight for warm Arizona evenings.
