By Country Cal from SC on 03/03/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Great Traction, HOT not warm, Water Resistant Cons: Not breathable, Not Comfortable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational, Daily off-road hiker Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: After hiking with these a week, even on cold wet SC evenings, I managed to cool these boots by swapping out the gel filled rubber insoles wth insoles from another brand of boots and an over the counter breathable insole. This should suffice till warmer days of spring but I doubt that I will be able to handle the lack of breathability after that.
