The comment by "Too Picky" is just that, Too Picky! The glaze is not "even," but it's supposed to be like that! It is really nice, looks like it could have come from a fancy boutique, but it very well priced! I wouldn't hesitate to give it as a gift (but, I'm keeping it for myself!).

They are similar to something you'd find in a home store but for much less. I'd recommend buying both sizes as a set for yourself or as a gift. The boxes are not gift giving quality though.
