It goes perfectly with my timbuk2 messenger bags, but gives a place for my personal stuff. Some people say it's too small, but if it were any bigger it'd weigh a ton with all that I can fit in there! I get compliments daily on it & it was such a deal!!

Also the shoulder straps don't seem to comfortable. But its a good looking bag. Too small for me so I had to send it back. It would be great for a purse, but not a beach bag.
