I do not like what it looks like -- pattern is kind of 80-looking. Not my cup of tea--not classy/classic looking. Kind of looks like a suburban matron's idea of "stylish". Ick.

I also wouldn't call it furry. It is warmer than many shalls and stiffer than pashmina, but it would be good for cool summer nights or winter when you need something extra over your inside clothes. Medium dressy.
