When you need really warm gloves, you need water resistance, and these are not. Frosty mornings and evenings, I prefer all leather, nicely finished with no insulation. Look good and will keep your hands warm, if not dry. Knit side panels are a wear item ["pilling"] and cheapen the upscale look of the leather.
