Good for serious runners. Short length. I prefer a short more like a soccer short, medium length so these are too short for me.
They are very light and stay dry.

I did a 14 mile run on a very humid morning with 1 mile hard intravals. I was soaked but had no rubbing issues and they dried super quick. Just short enough to allow free movement, but not too high. I wear them hiking and trail running as well because of their comfort.
