However, they have an odor that I'm not sure will ever go away. It's only bad if you're in a confined space like a car. Durability is yet to be tested. The leather laces are also a drawback.
However, the all-latex sole is something to be felt. The shoes bounce. So will your step. Ultra comfortable.

Combined with Patagonia's legendary quality, a great deal all-around.
Comfortable & worth every penny By Fordo - former outdoorsman from Cincinnati, Ohio on 08/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Personally, I think these shoes look good but many don't. I don't care. What I really care about though is that they're comfortable...and they are! While they're a little stiff initially they are too bad and can easily be worn immediately.
Just a note on sizing: I typically wear a size 12. I easily toed out in Patagonia's size 12 and had to order a 13. No big deal. One typical Sierra Trading Post exchange (easy) later and I have a great pair of shoes for kicking around.
