I probably would have got it in red instead of the taupe, as the fabric is rather sheer and you can see the down feathers, but since I am using it for layering, the color doesn't matter as much.

I ordered a red jacket and I'm not impressed that you can see the down through the outer layer.
On a plus it is pretty warm and very light.

It just runs about a size small (I would normally be swimming in a large). It has a velvety lining around the neck that protects your chin, and it looks fairly elegant; some down jackets turn you into a marshmallow, but this one is pretty trim. I hike a lot, and when I get hot it breathes well so I don't feel sweat-drenched. At the same time, it's impressively warm. It's also somewhat water-resistant, at least in snow - either that or it dries out really fast. I considered getting a second one as a backup... but my size is gone.
