I would recommend buying the next size up. I'm a girl and the shorts fit a female body nicely.
As with all MH gear- sizing is off By troutmustard from St. Paul, MN on 12/11/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable Cons: Fabric pattern, Sizing is off Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: MH pants and shorts don't fit me well. There's no "tween'er" size w/ their gear- either it's too small/tight in the one size or too baggy/gathered with the other.
But still, even with the lose fit in the larger size, I must say I like these shorts.
