It must be durable and be able to bend. The boot will need to be a bit waterproof as I muck the stalls in them!

Durable leather construction. I wear with Smart Sole orthotics. This may be why they chafe just behind my toes, on the top of my foot. The seam rubs a bit on my foot. Maybe not a problem unless you wear with orthotics. Think this can probably be fixed by placing some moleskin on my foot or affixing it to the inside of the boot. Overall, great boots for the price, and comparable to $200+ logger boots I'd tried on.
