That's the only word I can find! Wow! I've been suffering from knotting in my calves for a year, and stretching every morning has minimized the pain, but takes some doing. After 3 days in these (and the first two felt a bit weird, I must admit), the pain was nearly gone. Now, after 3 weeks of wearing them non-stop (without blistering either) I've almost forgotten what that pain was like. My legs feel stretched and relaxed.
I haven't even tried on the other pair of shoes I bought with these! I'm sold on this brand.

These are designed like the old time leather tennis shoes of the early 20th century. Faux leather (these are part of the Vegan line from Earth) appears more scuff resistant than real leather. These shoes will become part of a normal rotation and last for many many years: a FANTASTIC deal from STP!
