Great Product Great Price By Paddle or Die from Logan UT on 07/30/2008 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Competitive Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great product that we have used for a long time. We lost one the last river trip do to a big rock and some bad, and then good luck. Perfect size for a pump cloths and your other gear. Works great to keep things dry. The price here on Sierra was unbeatable. We are very pleased with everything. A must have for any rafting trip.
disappointing construction and size By Sue from Idaho on 07/29/2008 Cons: Feels flimsy, Narrow Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend I'm very disappointed in this dry bag. It's not very large -- so narrow that my sleeping bag (normal size) almost fills it; I can't fit anything else in around it, and only a pair of tennis shoes on top of it. Then it's full.
The material is also much light-weight than I expected -- lighter than other dry bags I've borrowed; an experienced rafter cautioned me against stuffing it full, in case the seams burst. It doesn't feel "designed for punishment." I haven't used it yet, but I've borrowed a larger and heavier dry bag for the 5 day raft trip I'm taking this week.
