By Fishin Fanatic from Sunny California on 11/15/2008 Pros: Durable, Reliable, Smooth Reeling Cons: Tangles Line, Weak drag Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Reel is solid and is functional. It works and don't expect much more for this price. Occasionally, the line can get tangled in between spool and frame if not careful in making sure spool is seated and locked onto frame before reeling and/or stripping out line. Drag is basically just a little more than a click pawl so more drag pressure must be added with the palming the rim technique. Reels are set up in factory for left hand retrieve which I prefer for right handers. Easy conversion if you want to change.
