Slipper back does not stay up, but typical of Acorn styles and not a problem for me. The soles left a lot of dark marks on my kitchen and wood floors at first. Considered returning, but seems to have mostly stopped. Have not had this problem with Acorn before.

They are by far the most comfortable & healthiest slippers I've ever had due to the soft, thick padding that conforms to my sole, but I wish I'd gotten a half size larger so my whole foot would stay INSIDE the slipper & the heel wouldn't fold over under my foot.
