By Mark from Colorado on 12/20/2007 Pros: Great Zipper System, Slip Resistant Bottom, Warm Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice warm bag! I bought it specifically for 3 season use, car camping. It is on the heavy side even for a synthetic bag @ 5 pounds. I understood that from the spec. so it didn't affect my rating. Bags are common now in this temp. range under 3 pounds (even synthetic) which you will appreciate if you backpack, they just cost more:) No complaints. Zippers are nice and so is the slip resistant bottom.
By Mark from Colorado on 12/20/2007 Pros: Great Zipper System, Slip Resist Bottom, Warm Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Car Camping, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice well made warm bag at a great price. Great for car camping, 3 season use. It is heavy even for a synthetic bag at 5 pounds, but I new that from the specs. A bit too heavy for backpacking as bags are now common w/ this temp. rating at the 2-1/2 to 3 pound range, but of course they are more $:)I specifically bought it for car camping. The slip resistant bottom is nice. Zippers are great. No problems.
