By Love to Kayak from New York on 07/02/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Easy to Paddle, Good Maneuverability, Good size dry compartment, Stable Cons: Heavy, Seat back needs be higher Best Uses: Day Trips, Flat Waters, Rivers Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like everything about this kayak except the back of the padded seat. It does not come up far enough when I try to adjust it. I placed a square floatation cushion behind it to push it forward. I am going to try to modify the seat because I have been unable to find a replacement. I use this kayak on lakes and rivers and it moves along nicely. I like having the dry compartment to carry my gear and use the cargo net to hold maps.
