Very comfortable, well made. I didn't have the "stiff ankle" problem, but the top of the right boot rubbed against the front of my leg the first time I wore them. After the first wear, there were no problems.

Only problem is the leather sole has a purple covering the peels off if you walk in gravel. I own in drk brown and black, and just wish I could buy more to wear in several years when these are worn out, I love them so!
