These fit like a glove and as such need a shoe horn to get them on...but once there on they become part of you...very comfortable to say the least. I usually wear size 13 but had to exchange them for a 12 which is a little snug right now but I'm sure they'll loosen with wear. I would say they run approx. half size long. I use them as an "all day" boot...not footware I would want to slip on and off frequently. Very nice boot and high quality.
