It slips of the shoulder but not because of the wide handle strap. Maybe because the bag is quite “fat” for a short and stiff handle. It is difficult to get things out of the bag – hard to explain why.

However, the strap is very wide, far too wide for my shoulders. The leather is quite stiff, thick, and heavy, which makes the bag rather bulky and heavy overall. It would be best I think for a very tall woman with broad shoulders. Not comfortable for one of average height and shoulder width (I'm 5 ft 6 and the bag was too big and heavy for me).
