I work outside year round in the snow and cold and these boots have stood the test. No probelms with cold toes or wet feet. Their primary use is snow shoeing and they are comfortable even with a heavy pack. I did have a problem with the toe coming apart from the boot, but the great staff at Sierra took care of this for me and got me back on the trail. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.

The sole is narrow and makes the shoe feel that it is unstable and prone to ankle rolling. However this also makes the boot much less bulky and gives more precise foot placement in tight spots. Pick your poison.

These boots are the finest i have ever owned. I've owned them a couple months now so i speak from experience.. They look like the day i bought them.. They ARE a bit stiff but that is a good thing in my mind.. I ordered the wide sizing and was happy though i don't usually do that with other brands.. I owned a pair of vasque before these and they did not hold up nor were they quality.. The only thing vasque has going is a tennis shoe "feel".. I wore down the sole fast on these as they were a soft rubber and the glue holding them was also inferior.. The asolo boots are super well constructed and have major ankle support.. After twisting my ankle in the vasque boots a few times this is a welcome change..If you do any serious hiking at all you know how important not twisting your ankle is.. The asolo boots also have a vibram sole but a much higher quality harder rubber.. Granted they squeak quite a bit on grocery store floors , but after a few months of wear they show no sign of wearing out.. I love the way the rubber wraps up and around the toe and the sides of the boot.. That's a feature i have been wanting from boots for years but never realized it until these boots.. While these boots might not last as long as justin boots, they are more comfortable and very stylish while still bieng top notch in durability.. I highly reccomend and will be muying more of this brand in the future..
