But all three times I was very pleased with these snowshoes.
They did kick up snow on the back of my leg. This was no superise since I did read by one other preson that this would happen. So where some snow pants.

By big don from harlowton, montana on 03/02/2009 Pros: Attach Securely, Compact Design, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: All Terrain, Icy Conditions, Off Trail, Rolling Terrain, Steep Pitches Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i added "stops" or "buttons" on the ends of the straps because otherwise the straps slip out of the buckles. otherwise exellent. i worked in the woods for many years for the u.s. forest service. i used snowshoes in my work, and these would do well for that use. i now use the "shoes" recreationally. they work well as a compromise between hi-flotation and light maneuverability. i weigh 250#, so great soft-snow flotation is NOT practical. the claws give great grip on ice and steep snow.
