I got the bag in olive color, and am quite happy with it. It is large enough to hold everything I carry (and that's a lot - big wallet, even bigger cosmetics case, sunglasses, and more). I like the three zippered pockets on the outside (two in the front, one long one in the back) because they allow easy access to things I need quickly like cell phone, airplane tickets, etc. The open pockets in the front are useful, too, but I would probably only use them to stash something for a minute or two...
The bag carries well because it has a relatively narrow width and doesn't bulge out. I added a non-slip shoulder pad to the strap because it tended to slide off of my shoulder (leather is very shiny and therefore slippery).
I'm not too, too crazy about the lining - I envisioned something a bit less "teeny". The paisley is big and interspersed with bright red flowers and when the bag is packed, the open front pockets tend to bend open and show more of the lining than I personally like.
Like the little details such as leather around the interior zippered pocket as well as the credit card pockets - no cheap stuff here.
Am not sure how timeless the appearance of this bag will turn out to be - might be that in a year or two I'll wonder what I was thinking. The green shiny leather does remind me of a 50s vinyl purse although it is NOT cheaply made, I would like to make that very clear. All in all and for now, I like it :-)

Comments: I've had this bag for about three weeks, and I've been using it every day. It's got great pockets on the front--two zipped, two open--that are perfect for keys, cell phone, iPod, . . . Easy to get your hand into, but deep enough that stuff doesn't fall out. The main compartment has a small zipped pocket on one side, and a mini-wallet with two pen loops and several slots for credit cards. There's a flat, zippered full-width pocket on the back that's handy for plane tickets or a book. The lining is a cheerful pink paisley that makes it easy to see inside the bag (compared to, say, a black lining). And the outside is pretty enough to get compliments from total strangers on the street.

Comments: It is a very expensive looking, durable, elegant bag/tote that is lightweight and will clearly take a beating and still look good, since the leather already has "character".
