great rod for a great price! He got lucky someone had an extra. I bought this as a back up but liked it so much it has become part of the rod rotation. Kind of stiff action but works great slapping weighted streamers for the big boys.

You don't have to be rich to enjoy fly fishing ! Good Luck.

A little stiff, but casts nicely with a 5/6 orvis reel. Not bad for [$]!!
