By Odessa camper from Odessa, Texas on 12/28/2007 Pros: Accurate, Strong Construction Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After a few tries it is easy to align this telescope. I have used this telescope a handful of times and have had great success each time I have used it. For a beginer or a someone on a budget this telescope is perfect. Just add a hard case for the scope and you are ready to go anywhere with this compact scope. Big Bend National Park, here I come!
My con is over the focus, it slipped a tad but at this price, it is a minor complaint.
Delightful telescope for the money By yincision from Albuquerque, NM on 10/16/2007 Pros: Accurate, Bright images, Easy to use Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my first telescope. I have used a pair of 10x50 Celestron binoculars in the past. This telescope is extremely easy to use, has great image quality and is well worth the money. The day it came I had it up and viewing the moon and venus in about 45 minutes. My wife even loved it!
