No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return the first pair because the sole was not glued completely and the shoe strings broke on the first tie. The second pair I got the seams tore out of the side only after 2 weeks of wear, and the shoe strings broke. These Boots are not good for work, or hike, or anything else.
