By Hikerboy from Portland, OR on 06/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Conforms to your body, Easy To Load, Good Padding, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity, Lightweight, Lots of pockets, Waterproof bottom Best Uses: Extended Hikes, Heavy Loads, Light Loads, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very nice backpack. Tons of extra straps. It looks nice, holds gear very well. Does not feel or look bulky, even when packed to the brim. The only thing about it is that the shoulder straps only have two adjustments. However, if you try on the Triconi 60 in the store, and it fits, this model will fit. This is an older model but better looking and the hip straps are more comfortable. The price is awesome. Also it is very dirt resistant.
Another excellent Gregory pack By Jay from Maryland on 04/27/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have only used it once so far - ~ 35 mile o/n hike. So, the pack was very comfortable. Gregory's claims of comfort seem true. Has a VERY durable/water-proof bottom [nice feature compared to other bags]. Supposedly, Gregory's adjustable hip-belt and suspension causes the bag to have lower max carring weight ~ 40lbs. I never really got close to that, so I can't comment, just be aware in case you're one of those "over-packers." Great deal and price for a solid Gregory pack [...]. Would make GREAT first pack.

It's just the right size! Gregory pays close attention to detail, a reinforced bottom, welded seam zippers, easy to make all adjustments, good stitching, comfortable on the shoulders and around the hips for hours of hiking, roomy compartments.
