By Casual Backpacker from Spokane, WA on 07/31/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Pack, Good Back Support, Good Padding Cons: Not Enough Compartments Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Short Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is my first pack and I love it. The size is perfect for my needs. The only complaint I have is that the water bottle holders on the sides are hard to access once the pack is full.
By alex from San Francisco, CA on 07/28/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Pack Best Uses: Airline Travel, Backpacking, Extended Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i think this is the perfect size for extended travel overseas. we are going to central america this month and i can fit all i need in this bag easily. i can't imagine myself using this bag in the JMT (john muir trail) because it will not be able to fit a bear canister and all my supplies. however, i think it is perfect for traveling.
