I'm hoping it won't be an issue after breaking them in.

Far too wide, plus too long. Good maybe if you have Fred Flintstone feet. And I thought they looked rather cheezy, especially the plastic-looking wedge soles. Back they went! Probably very comfortable, though, if the fit is right.
