The lace dresses it up a bit. It's a lightweight fabric and is a little "clingy." It's pretty, but I would probably wear a camisole under it.

I guess you could use it as a t-shirt but I wouldn't. It makes for good underwear or as a layer underneath something else or even sleepwear. It looks very pretty on. I washed it on gentle cycle but I have not put it in the drier so I cannot comment on shrinkage.
