Overstock fabric. Commonwealth's Ming faux silk shantung curtain panels help control energy costs by blocking sunlight and insulating windows. The Shantung panels can be combined with the blackout panels (#87890) into a great solution for day sleepers. Horizontal knobby silk finish, and several color options in both traditional and contemporary tones.

Unfortunately they do not block the light as well as I had hoped - I bought the suggested blackout panels but they did not hang nice or even look good form the outside. Love the curtains though. Beautiful colors.

I bought the liners that Sierra TP also had available which afforded extra insulation, room darkening, and privacy. I am very please with these curtains. The color was very nice (I got the coffee color, which is more like taupe--or coffee with a lot of cream!) I was so happy with them, I bought a few more panels to put in my dining room so all the window coverings are uniform. I've even thrown them in the wash once already (not recommended on the tag). I washed two panels at a time, in a gentle cycle, cold water with Woolite, and then line dried them, and they came out great. I also get lots of compliments when people come over. Bonus!

Since valances were not available I bought an extra pair to make tailored valances and have extra fabric for accent pillows. The cafe color is a perfect coffee-and-cream shade. I'm getting paint the same color for all the trim work in my way too beige rooms!
