Great Product, Once You get it up! By Ted the Bear from Newville, Pa on 08/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: DO set this up prior to trying to use it at the beach. I am good with tents, but this was a little difficult, especially with wind. Definitely is much easier with two people to set up. DO NOT count on using the tent pegs, as other readers have commented on they do not work well on the beach. We used it on the Outer Banks and loved it and got numerous looks and questions about it.
By Wubby from Montana on 08/10/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Beach, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I set this up in the back yard to try it out. It is easy to set up and take down. I like that it comes with a detachable wall. We had a big storm that night and the awning was super strong and shows no signs of weakness. My pooch was happy to have a place to "get out of the rain".
Very useful piece of family equip By seaboy from Atlanta, GA on 07/25/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Sturdy Best Uses: Beach, Car Camping, Sidelines Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A great piece of summer equipment for the family. We love it at the beach. Two suggestions: Check the knots at the end of the shock cords, make sure they are tight. Bring some small sand pails to bury and use as anchors on windy days as stakes won't do it. Wife read for hours under it, while kids played in the surf and I fished.
