Good value, needs arch support By BBBtraveler from Denver, CO on 08/04/2008 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Water Resistant Cons: Minimal arch support Best Uses: Day Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Size was spot on for me, unlike some other reviewers. 9.5 was proper size; 10 was too big (I wear 9.5 typically). While not too painful, lack of arch support is going to lead me to inserts before too long. Break in was fast and surprisingly easy. Nice and dry while fishing and stepping into the lake. This boot is a very good value.
Great boots and great price! By Bonvain Kid from Cyclone,PA on 08/03/2008 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my first pair of Gore-Tex lined boots and they are great. My feet have remained dry in wet conditions and very comfortable. Great traction in muddy conditions.
By Tzar Igor from Weed, CA on 07/25/2008 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible Cons: Not Durable/ Wears Easily Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great comfortable light weight waterproof hiking boot at a good price. Runs true to size and needs no break in time. Excellent for long trail hikes with light load. A little bit too flexible for serious cross country rock hopping.
