By CrankyFeet Gal from Duluth, MN on 02/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Heavy Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordering new footwear, especially boots, is a special hassle for me due to touchy feet, a little wide from years of Birkenstock use because that's usually all I can wear for half the year! These are roomy while still fitting well - amazing in a hard boot. They are awesomely hard to remove. I actually worry about pulling a muscle somewhere or other when I wrestle them off. But they fit, and were comfy to walk in from day one (!!), and I really needed something waterproof for woodsy walks in the slushy "in-between" months. Overall a great value, provided they last a while - and they look like they will.
