By dognamedspot from Juneau, AK on 09/15/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer, Professional/Guide Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These things went above and beyond what I expected out of them. I purchased them when moving to Juneau, AK and they have not disappointed. I initiated them in on a 12 mile overnight hike with plenty of bush-wacking. They needed no breaking in. There was rain and mud and puddles but nothing got through. This is my first pair of gore-tex boot and I doubt I'll go back.
By mikey from moab ut on 04/16/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Sturdy/Durable Best Uses: Day Hiking, Light Loads Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this boot for day hikes... they have good support and are comfortable
too narrow even for a "C" width By witearrow from Big Timber MT. on 01/19/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable Cons: Adds new meaning to stiff, Not Comfortable, REALLY HARD break in, Too Stiff/Not Flexible Best Uses: Cold Weather, Harsh Terrain, Heavy Loads, Long-Distance Hiking, Super heavy duty, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: All around hunter, Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are exceptional quality except for the width. I am a C width and thes suckers feel too small for me. That's actually why I bought them. Not sure if they will ever break in to fit me. I still may have to send them back and exchange for bigger "wider" ones. I would suggest NOT buying them unless you have a B width foot.
