I found myself walking around the city in these the first day I wore them -- in over 90 heat. Very little problem and they still looked cool.
The bottom of these shoes are leather. This can be slippery so be careful. I attached adhesive anti-sliders to the bottom, but this didn't work. If you purchase these you may want to bring them to your shoemaker/cobbler and have him/her put on rubber treads. (This is not a shoe for walking on a dock, or a ramp, by the seashore.)

These sandals fit perfectly and are well-made, with soft leather and attractive ornamentation. In fact, I think that they are even more good-looking than the photo suggests. Right out of the box I wore them all day and then to the theater in the evening with no problems of any kind. Probably best for narrow to medium narrow feet.
