I'm planning to wear it to a wedding. My tailor had a great idea -- to criss-cross the straps in the back, so that it's not a halter any more, and it won't pull on my neck. It feels much more secure that way, and it's still sexy and beautiful. NOTE: If you're looking for a full length dress, be aware that this is a little shorter than full length. It works great for me!

It is beautiful, though, and I received many compliments when I wore it to a friend's evening wedding. It's different than wearing the "little black dress" and set me apart from most other women there.

The cleavage area is a bit low for my taste, but a couple of stitches took care of that. The beading is wonderful and looks so pretty throughout the halter area. This dress is perfect for a wedding or social function. It is also a classic piece to add to your wardrobe that you could have for years. I love this dress... the color is so pretty... plumb/raspberry and black. Perfect all year!
