Closeout shells. This is the finest Twin down comforter we have ever carried; made in the Black Forest of Germany, which has a rich history of fine textile production. The shell, woven by K&S Fabric (a 200-year-old weaver of the finest down proof fabrics in Germany), is silky and more durable than most cambric shells with a higher thread count. The superior boxed-wall baffle construction uses smaller baffle-boxes with 1" high baffles for the most even distribution of down for loft and warmth control. The edges of the comforter are sewn down and piped for ease of slipping into a duvet cover. Size: 66x86"Box size: 12x12" Weight: 2 lb. 11 oz. I purchased my first Black Forest comforter several years ago.This is lightweight while being very warm. It feels like sleeping under a cloud. We just purchased one for our son about to move out on his own. It should last him for years. I have total confidence in this comforter brand- "heirloom" super quality.

We have had 2 of these Black Forests for 11 years and they have never leaked down, torn, or worn out. . . they are used everyday.
