The fact that it's washable silk is a real plus. It's cool in summer, warm in winter.
And it did machine wash very well-I waited til I'd washed it to add a review.

It's very lightweight and more like a quilt, so while we'll stay with the down comforter for winter, I'll be happy to use this coverlet once warmer weather arrives. It's very attractive without being too formal, which is just what I was looking for. The neutral color will also look good with a variety of sheet patterns, a real plus for me.

But the queen is fine unless you like to tuck your pillows under the bedspread. I put my pillows on top with the shams in front and it's lovely. I bought this for summer use, but with a blanket underneath it's remarkably warm for a lightweight cover, so it might be a four-season bedspread.
