By La Jolla shopper from CA on 08/22/2008 Pros: Absorbent, Dries Quickly, Generous Size, High Quality, Soft Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Others have commented that these towels produced excessive lint when washed. I didn't have this problem. Others also noted that the towels aren't very absorbent. I DID find this to be true at first, but with each washing they become more absorbent. My theory is that the towels are rinsed with lots of fabric softener before they're sold, so the towel will look and feel silky smooth to the customer. However, lots of fabric softener isn't good for absorbency. This might explain why my towels are getting more fluffy and absorbent (and less shiny) with each washing (I don't add any fabric softener to the wash). The color is holding up well and the bindings are not coming undone. All in all, a terrific towel. A note on color - I ordered the light green. It's more of a pastel mint green than a sage green.
