This is his 4th pair. Great for the beach and walking around. He wears them all the time. They are nicely made, he loves the comfort of them.
Different colors sized differently! He was pleased that the stride was short as he has difficultly finding a short-strided pant. He is an outdoor professional and needs ease of movement. Suprisingy, this exact same pant in the khaki color in an XL "short" does NOT have a short stride. ---full 2" longer. What a disappointment. Am returning the pair he has not worn.

In really hot weather they are such a pleasure-light and cool. I brought other shorts but these were the most comfortable, then, when it gets cooler at night, you have a nice pair of casual slacks.
