I thought it was destined to fit poorly but I measured myself and ordered anyway. I don't see where the comments about being too small come from. Yes, I don't normally wear a 12 but according to the measurement chart on the website-it is what I wore. I think if you order the size you get from a store normally instead of what their measurement chart say, you would be surprised. I don't care if the label says 12 instead of 8. They feel great.
