He wanted something to wear for working outside, doing yard work or for the beach. The hat is light weight, has 50UV sun protection and is breathable. The visor is longer than most hat likes this, it keeps the sun of his face and the back of his neck. He loves it!

The hat runs way too large, probably by about 2 sizes [a medium = extra-large].
