Soft and light but feels warm. Style/cut of this robe is straight. Would have been better if there had been a little flair to the lower part of the robe. Sleeves are slightly bulky with the length and cuff. Zipper separates at bottom, so it's easy to put on (don't have to step into it).

I also have the Anne Lewin cotton/poly blend robe which I like a little better (not quite as thick, a little more generous in proportion without being sloppy, button-up instead of zipper), but I have a feeling I'll be pulling this robe out more than that one when the weather turns cold in the fall & winter.
