Good shoes, my second pairs By BlueJay from Bay Area, CA on 10/11/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my second pairs because I like the support so much. Most people said, it was stiff, but I am used to wearing running shoes, and it is comparable -- not stiffer. Good stability. I feel my back is staighter. This shoes is great for rocky terrain, but I don't think it is for gym/aerobic because it is not as flexible to do stretch/bend, etc. But if you are a trail jogger, a great pair of shoes. I wouldn't use for jogging on paved road. As for wear, I don't know yet -- so far, it is holding up well.
By benevolentia from ocean springs, ms on 09/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent Best Uses: At The Gym, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails Describe Yourself: Gym Rat, Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very comfy- no break in necessary- true to size- my 4th pair of Vasque trail shoes...love 'em!
stepping on it to comfort By Fay ADL trainer from SW Missouri on 09/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Wlking all day on concret Describe Yourself: COTA, Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Working in a nursing home, on my feet 6-8 hours. Not to mention long concrete hallways, back and forth. My feet, shins, and legs are NOT tired at the end of the day. Just wish there was just a bit more arch, other than that...need to purchase a couple more pair to replace these when they wear out.
