By Eva from Vancouver Island, BC on 08/29/2008 Best Uses: Power Outages, Tending to chores outside Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A great little cheap light for walking trails at night, checking the yard or taking the dog out. We get a lot of power outages and I like to have the light available. This one is just great and does not cost a fortune.
Great little lamp, read directions By MsAnnaNOLA from New Orleans on 08/26/2008 Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just wanted people to know they should read the little card in the box before attempting to open the case for changing the batteries. My fiancee ordered one and immediately broke it by trying to open the case. The instructions say to use a coin to open it. I have not tried it yet because I don't want to break mine! I need it. I will risk breaking it when the batteries run out.
By JJ from Minneapolis, MN on 08/18/2008 Pros: Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a pair of these - one for me, and one for my two-year-old son, for his introductory camping trip. Mine worked great - leaving my hands free to manage him :). He loved his, and I had to negotiote it's removal from his head at bedtime. If it can stand up to his abuse, you know it will work for you! Also, it's made in the USA, which is a top priority for me.
