By rhinoviper from Morrison, CO on 09/30/2008 Pros: Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable, Fits kids and adults, Lightweight, Long battery life Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking, Moonlight snowshoeing, Night Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These headband is easily adjustable, and we continually are swapping them among our family members. The hinged design and fairly wide beam allows for one-handed adjustment that covers more than just a pin-point spot. There is a flasher mode we haven't quite figured out how to do on purpose. For the price, I don't know that we could've purchased a better headlamp.
By Dfarrisca from Santa Barbara, CA on 09/07/2008 Pros: Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Spare Bulb, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this headlamp at the same time my girlfriend was shopping for her Sierra Backpacking trip. We shopped separately and on different computers, so didn't realize we each had bought a headlamp. Hers had 8LEDs (this one has 3) and hers cost [$]. This one was [$]. When we each used our headlamps camping this summer, mine was markedly brighter.. So bright people kept asking me to trun it down or off! I loved it! Great product!
By Eva from Vancouver Island, BC on 08/29/2008 Best Uses: Power Outages, Tending to chores outside Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A great little cheap light for walking trails at night, checking the yard or taking the dog out. We get a lot of power outages and I like to have the light available. This one is just great and does not cost a fortune.
