I like having 2 sizes of pouches.
By Tippetsnapper from PA on 07/13/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This contains zip-lock style baggies that will likely not hold up to continued use. The foam for drying flies is not the best quality. I bought it on sale for less than 10 bucks so it will be useful for storage and allows a decent amount of "filing" and baggies. I will use it as a travel fly "box" or for specialized fishing outings. Would be much better suited for leaders, tippet, and other rigging b/c of not having to continually open and close sleeves as much. All in all a mediocre product that generally serves its purpose.
perfect for wading and going light By RyanB from NH on 06/22/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Functional Best Uses: Fresh Water, Salt Water Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: holds quite a bit in a small package. Works well for what I wanted it for. throw a few dozen flies in it, some tippet material, a spare leader and take off on foot. One draw backs are 1) the ziplock bags in side are really really hard to open. Maybe they will loosen up over time, but man are they sealed well. 2) Poor thought out design on the velcro closure. It has a tag end that goes over the top to close it, but it needs to get about half way down the back to find the other side of the velcro. If you are wearing it on your belt like I am, its nearly impossible to velcro shut. 3) as small and lightweight as it is, it could have easily been smaller. The outside is made of some hard material that doesn't flex, it could have just as easily been made out of balistic nylon or something else soft and flexible.
