I need perscription lenses and feel that Costa frames give me the best option. My eye dr. loves working with them, since the frames are well made and durable.
By peachy from albuquerque NM on 08/07/2008 Cons: Heavy, Poor Protection, Unattractive Design, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in the High Desert where the sun blazes daily. these glasses allowed light to leak from the top and from the sides so I could not see. They are realy wide at the temples, much of the lens extended past the eye area to create a disorienting peripheral view. Probably just a terrible fit for my face, which might be on the small side. I replaced them with Costa's Cinder, a rimless, fits- in -your -eye -socket pair much to my satisfaction. I wanted to look more hip than that, but oh well...the teenagers say to me "oooh, so Matrix."
